Sassy Jewish Woman come in ON TOP!!!

Hello to my many readers who follow Sivan in the City!

I know I haven't updated this blog in a while but GREAT NEWS! My one woman show got accepted into the United Solo festival and will be featured OFF-BROADWAY!!! YAY!! Take a look and hope to see you there!

The performance is based on my experiences as a modern day gypsy, traveling through America, Israel, Egypt, Turkey, India, China and Thailand in search of a home. The audience is taken on a journey back to the time when Hadari's family were Jewish immigrants fleeing Tunisia, to a little girl praying at a Yeshiva in Brooklyn, to a caravan in a settlement over-looking Jericho, to a nude beach at the Dead Sea to jewel encrusted elephant rides in India, all in the name of liberation.

an actress so former Yeshiva good-girl turned sassy New York artist and producer, Sivan Hadari wrote a play about it…and now it’s in a festival. This is a story about Jewel encrusted elephant rides in India, nude beaches in the Dead Sea and one woman’s journey to emancipation.

THE EMANCIPATION OF THE SASSY JEWISH WOMAN will take place at 10pm on Wednesday, November 11th at The Studio Theatre at Theatre Row, located at 410 West 42nd Street New York, N.Y. Tickets are $18 online and can be purchased at the door or online.
